Location: Hoffman Estates, IL (Primarily On-Site with Some Remote Flexibility)
Position Overview:
A well-established financial services organization is looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide premium-level support at one of their key regional offices in the Hoffman Estates area. This role requires both in-person and remote support capabilities, with an emphasis on endpoint provisioning, identity management, and user experience within a Microsoft-centric enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on position suited for a resourceful problem-solver with deep experience in the Microsoft ecosystem (Intune, Office 365, Entra ID), automation via PowerShell, and a working knowledge of cloud environments including Azure and AWS. You’ll act as the local face of the broader IT infrastructure group, delivering high-touch support and collaborating with centralized teams to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
End-User Support & Device Management-
Deliver white-glove IT support on-site to employees and remote users across multiple locations.

Manage device provisioning, imaging, and lifecycle via Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.

Troubleshoot Windows and Microsoft 365 issues to ensure seamless daily operations.

Lead onboarding for new hires and contribute to improvements in onboarding workflows.

Support Microsoft 365 applications including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.

Manage users, devices, and group roles within Entra ID (Azure AD).

Configure Conditional Access policies and MFA using Entra ID P2 or Okta.

Assist with SCIM-based integrations for automated identity lifecycle management.

Develop automation scripts and provisioning workflows using PowerShell and Intune.

Maintain and improve Autopilot configurations for zero-touch deployments.

Partner with centralized IT to drive consistency in endpoint and identity management processes.

Provide Tier 2/3 support for cloud platforms, primarily within Azure, with occasional AWS exposure.

Assist with hybrid identity infrastructure, including Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365.

Contribute to cloud compliance and security governance initiatives.

Use ITSM tools (e.g., Freshservice, ServiceNow) to resolve and escalate support tickets in line with SLAs.

Maintain detailed documentation of SOPs, troubleshooting workflows, and technical standards.
Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in IT support within enterprise or hybrid cloud environments.

Strong proficiency in:

Microsoft Intune & Autopilot

Microsoft 365 administration

Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, Conditional Access

SCIM provisioning

Experience with Azure is required; AWS exposure is a plus.
