Recruiting Coordinator
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our growing Talent Acquisition team. This individual will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience by coordinating interviews, managing recruiting operations, and ensuring a seamless hiring process from initial outreach through onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interviews across multiple departments, managing complex calendars and scheduling logistics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, providing timely communication and a high-touch experience.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure interviews are scheduled efficiently and feedback is collected promptly.
  • Manage candidate records and job requisitions within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare interview materials, coordinate onsite interview logistics, and facilitate candidate visits.
  • Assist with preparing offer letters, background checks, and pre-employment documentation.
  • Support new hire onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Maintain recruiting reports, dashboards, and hiring metrics.
  • Coordinate recruiting events, career fairs, and university recruiting initiatives as needed.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and enhance the candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, talent acquisition, or administrative support.
  • Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, iCIMS, or similar platforms is preferred.
