A leading global investment firm is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join its Investor Systems team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing investor data platforms and reporting solutions. This person will drive initiatives across investor portals, cloud data technologies, and business intelligence tools while supporting key business processes related to investor onboarding, reporting, and lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Lead sessions with stakeholders to document and refine business and technical requirements.
- Project Leadership: Oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets; ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps and successful on-time delivery.
- System Optimization: Identify system and process improvement opportunities, lead implementation of enhancements, and communicate changes effectively.
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary escalation point for system issues, user training needs, and software enhancements.
- Best Practices: Promote data management and CRM best practices across the organization to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Investor Portal Oversight: Manage implementation and enhancement of investor-facing portal(s) with a focus on user experience, integration, and data integrity.
- Data & Analytics: Design and deliver scalable reporting solutions using tools like SQL, Power BI, and cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure).
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical solutions into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members and contribute to roadmap planning and strategy development.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

12+ years of professional experience in financial services or alternative investments technology

Strong knowledge of investor portal technologies and investor data processes

Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and experience with APIs and data integration workflows

Deep understanding of investor reporting, onboarding, and fund lifecycle operations

Familiarity with cloud technologies (preferably Azure), data lakehouse architecture, and tools like Databricks and Unity Catalog

Background in data warehousing, data modeling, and reporting/dashboard development

Exposure to partnership accounting workflows and systems (experience with Investran is a plus)

Knowledge of Python or Alteryx is a plus

Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments and tools such as Jira and ServiceNow
