About the Role
We are seeking a Junior AV Technician to support the daily operations of our meeting and event technologies across the organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for audiovisual systems. You’ll ensure seamless collaboration experiences by maintaining Zoom Rooms , Crestron control systems , and other integrated AV platforms used by our employees and leadership teams.
What You’ll Do

Provide on-site and remote support for meetings, events, and hybrid collaboration sessions using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems including Zoom Rooms, Crestron touch panels, digital signage, and room scheduling integrations.

Set up, test, and tear down AV equipment for internal meetings, executive sessions, and large-scale events.

Perform regular system checks and room readiness inspections to ensure all technology is fully operational.

Partner with IT, Facilities, and Event teams to deliver smooth, high-quality meeting experiences.

Maintain accurate documentation , including system diagrams, inventory, and configuration details.

Support preventive maintenance efforts and coordinate vendor visits when needed.

Assist senior engineers with hardware/software updates and new technology rollouts.

Deliver end-user support and basic training on conference room technology.
What We’re Looking For
Required:-
3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting AV systems in a corporate or educational setting.

Working knowledge of Zoom Rooms and Crestron systems (control, scheduling, and touch panels).

Basic understanding of video conferencing standards , audio DSPs , and signal flow .

Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate with non-technical users.

Proven ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Experience with AV-over-IP , digital signage , or room scheduling integrations .

Familiarity with networking fundamentals , including cabling, IP addressing, and VLANs.
- Certifications such as CTS, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, or Zoom are a plus.
